STUDY TOUR

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) Adventure Club organized a study tour on Saturday, 30th March’ 2019. They visited National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar and Baliati Zamindar Bari in Manikganj District. Four faculty members, Executive members of the club and forty five students from different departments participated in the tour.

The participants took a whole tour of the safari park by a minibus where they observed various wild animals like tiger, lion, white lion, black beer, zebra, giraffe and deer roaming in open spaces. They also visited the Macao park, marine aquarium, butterfly garden which were also fascinating and enjoyable.

Visiting Place were include-Padma River Side (Mawa Ghat), Idrakpur Fort; Baba Adam's Mosque & Tomb (1660); Panditer Bhita (Birthplace of Atish Dipankar) & Jagadish Chandra Bose Residence

Baba Adam's Mosque & Tomb (1660)
It is a Jami Mosque situated in the village of Kazi Qasba under Rikabibazar Union in Rampal thana of Munshiganj District in Bangladesh. It was built in 1483 A.D. The mosque was constructed as a Jami mosque by Malik Kafur. The grave of Saint Baba Adam Shahid stands near by the mosque. The mosque is named after Saint Baba Adam Shahid.

drakpur Fort
The fort was built approximately in 1660 A.D. According to a number of historians, the river fort was built by Mir Jumla II, a Subahdar of Bengal under the Mughal Empire,
to establish the control of Mughal Empire in Munsiganj, and to defend Dhaka and Narayanganj from the pirates

 

Adventure tour to tea capital of Bangladesh, Sreemangal. The lush green tea plantation, Rubber garden and the beautiful lake attract the foreign tourist. The Lauwachara Rain Forest is the habitat of white browed Gibbons, Horn bills and many other rare animals and birds

Our Adventures club’s chief purpose is to engage students in adventure experiences for escape, education and enjoyment. We're here to enhance the student experience. Using adventure in its many forms, we aim to expand and diversify students’ experiences, and provide experimental education that accentuates lessons learned in the future.

Also continually spread awareness about Physical, Social and Environmental benefits of trekking & outdoor adventure in the course of Business value.

Policies

Our activities include social outings like annual tours, charity events, concerts and free medical camps in remote areas. The Club also organizes annual picnic for the interest of students and members of the faculty and management from various walks of life. It helps the students to visit the historical places to highlight cultural profiles of our country. These adventurous activities will develop our student’s ability at an individual and personal level, and allow them to take on greater challenges socially and academically
