‘Mubashar Ali- Gold Medal Award-2016’ ceremony was held at the auditorium of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) on September 08, 2016 at 11.00am. The ceremony was presided over by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury.This year, the honorable awardees were Prof. Anisuzzaman, renowned researcher, educationist and litterateur and Prof. Abdul Mannan, Chairman, UGC. Dr. Moshiur Rahman, Economic Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister was present as the chief guest. Prof Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Uttara University and Dr. Abdul Wahab, Ex-Director, Bangla Academic were present on this occasion as guests of honor. Deans of faculties, Heads of departments, Registrar, Proctor, Teachers and Students of World University of Bangladesh were also present on this program.
