In 2016 Dept. of CSE arranged a panel discussion titled ‘towards digital Bangladesh: role of universities and government’. Professor Dr. Musfiq M Choudhury, Chief Advisor of the World University of Bangladesh represented academia and Deputy Secretary of ICT Division Dr. Azizul Islam and Mahbuba Panna were present as representative from the government a discussant. The discussion addressed Goal 4 and Goal 8 of the SDGs.
