Department of Pharmacy, World University of Bangladesh, organized a seminar on “Young People and Mental Health in a Changing World” on November 17, 2018. Ms. Nasima Akter, Psychosocial Counselor, Therapist & Trainer and Managing Director, Freedom Within, was present as the keynote speaker and highlighted the importance of mental health of young people. Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, WUB was present as the special guest. Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, University of Dhaka and Advisor, Department of Pharmacy, WUB; Prof. Dr. Firoj Ahmed, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Dhaka and Advisor, Department of Pharmacy, WUB delivered speeches on mental disorders among the youth and possible ways of remedies. All the faculty members and students of the department were present in the seminar. The seminar was chaired by Zubair Khalid Labu, Head, Department of Pharmacy, WUB.
