The Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh unveiled the premiere issue of its second magazine “Sisal 2018” on Saturday, 08.12.2018. On the occasion of unveiling the magazine, honorable Vice-Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury along with Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh were cordially welcomed by the faculty members of the department & administrative personnel.

After unveilingthe magazine,the Vice-Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury expressed his joy on the co-curricular & extra-curricular activities of the department. He also provided some important directions forthe future plan.

In the magazine, the articles focused on advanced technology,sharing of the experiences, challenges & preparations for the future. Faculty members, students, alumni are the major contributors of the articles published in the magazine.

The event concluded with a valuable speech byDr. Shah Alimuzzaman, Advisor, Department of Textile Engineering &Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Head, Department of Textile Engineering.They shared the experiences, achievements, and strategic plans of the department. Everyone wished the best for a more successful journey of the Department of Textile Engineering in the future.
