Cultural Club of World University of Bangladesh arranged a two-day Pitta festival on 17 - 18 January, 2019 at the main campus auditorium. Syed Hasan Imam, Ekushey and Swadhinata Padak winner and a prominent dramatist was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony. Professor Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Chief Advisor, World University of Bangladesh delivered welcome speech on this occasion. Syed Abul Maksud, Journalist, columnist, researcher and writer; Dr. Md. Mainul Ahasan, Managing Director, Green Life Medical College Hospital;Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer; were present as Special Guests. Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh chaired the closing session. Students of all the departments of the university displayed about hundred and twenty types of traditional Bangladeshi Pitha in different stalls in the fair.Visitors appreciated the arrangement and thanked the participating students.The program ends with a prize giving ceremony.
