A seminar on “Quality Assurance in Higher Education” was held on May 21, 2015 at the

auditorium of the main campus of World University of Bangladesh (WUB). The ceremony was 

embraced by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Emeritus Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan 

Choudhury as the Chief Guest followed by Professor Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of 

WUB, Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Secretary, Board of Trustees, WUB  as Special Guests 

and Professor A K M Ziaul Islam, Controller of Examinations, Chaired the session.   A keynote 

paper on quality improvement parameters was presented by Md. Arif  Sattar. Associate Professor 

of Statistics, World University of Bangladesh.  Faculty members of different departments were 

present in the seminar.
