WUB hold its Convocation 2012, a solemn and sacred graduation ceremony, on 23rd December 2012 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) to award degrees to more than twenty two hundred graduates. The Honorable Education Minister, Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid MP, on behalf of His Excellency the Honorable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) presided over the ceremony and conferred degrees to the graduating students. Dr. Serajul Islam Choudhury, Emeritus Professor, University of Dhaka, was the Convocation Speaker and Prof. Dr. S. M. Nazrul Islam, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, BUET addressed the ceremony as Special Guest. Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of WUB continued to confer degrees to the graduates being empowered by the President of the occasion. The respected Chairperson and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the university Morsheda Choudhury and Dr. Musfiq Choudhury respectively also addressed in the ceremony. The ceremony was rounded up with attractive cultural programs mounted by students of World University of Bangladesh.
