In order to encourage young people who are underprivileged, the department of electronics and electrical engineering organized a two day workshop on python. It was a free workshop and took place from 10-11^th October 2021. 134 participants took part in the training and most of the candidates were from rural backgrounds.

The advantage of the COVID pandemic made it possible for the facilitators to deliver the training via Zoom platform helping participants in not incurring travel and course costs. Hence, the workshop provided the basic knowledge of this advanced programming language. In short, this initiative of the University was a target to reduce poverty through education to disadvantaged population throughout the country.
