In the meeting of the Academic Council reconstituted on 18^th May 2022, World University of Bangladesh proposed the funding of 31 academics of the university for internal research grants. The grants will be funneled to projects which will lead to publications in high impact journals such as of SCOPUS index. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury. Amongst present were, Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, Dr. Mushfiq Mannan Choudhury, Chairman, (Acting ) Board of Trustees, Mr. Enamul Hoque Choudhury, the editor of the daily Sun, Professor  Dr. Saiful Islam, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shariful Islam , Professor A.F.M.  Abdur Rauf, Professor Dr. M. Serajul Islam, Professor Dr. Alimuzzaman Belal, Professor Moqbul Hossain and other academics and Registrar of the university. The discussion,and decisions include but not limited to:

1.     Publication of results of Spring 2022.

2.     Approval of the internal Research fund of Academics.

3.     Approval of the cost of FDT, AMT and MPH program.

4.     Commencement of next semester
