The Prize Giving Ceremony of Bangabandhu Shortpitch Cricket Tournament, 2022 organized by the Department of English, World University of Bangladesh in collaboration with World English club was held at 3:00 pm on 23 August 2022. Honorable Vice-chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury was present as chief guest in the program. Prof. M. Nurul Islam, Pro Vice-chancellor of WUB, Ms. Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer of WUB and Prof. Dr. Musfiq M. Choudhury, Chairman, Board of Trustees, WUB attended the program as special guests. Mr. Zulhas Sarker and Mr. Atik Ullah, faculties of the Department of English was the convener of the tournament.

In the tournament, 20 teams from different departments participated, and the top 4 teams qualified for final round. Team (Finishing Master) of (Textile Department) became champion and team (Antibiotic) representing the (Pharmacy Department) became runner-up. Honorable Vice-chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury handed over the champion trophy to the winning team.
