Fresher’s Reception & Farewell Program (Fall-2022)

The WUB Textile Club, Department of Textile Engineering organized a fresher’s Reception and farewell program for the newly admitted students and outgoing students for the Fall Semester 2022 of World University of Bangladesh. The program was held in the WUB Campus Auditorium on 29th October 2022 (Saturday) at 2.30 pm. Around 45 students got admitted and 25 students have been passed out after completing their graduation this semester.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Dr. Ruhul Khan, Director, Institute of Radiation and Polymer Technology, Bangladesh atomic energy commission was present as the Special Guest. Two alumni members of the Department of Textile Engineering, Syed Ansar Ullah, Managing Director, SAU Fashion Ltd and Md. Touhiduzzaman, Asst. Manager, Merchandising & Production In- Charge, Brannerson Apparel were also present in the program as the guests of honor. Registrar, Proctor, Controller of Examinations, Head of the Departments, faculties and senior officials were also present in this program.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury welcomed all participants and advised them to work hard to become responsible citizens of the country. He also gave valuable life lessons to the students and wished them a bright and successful future. Dr. Ruhul Khan gave his valuable speech about the industrial 4G revolution and the latest technology. Besides, he provided valuable information to the students about higher studies. The program was chaired by Md. Mostafizur Rahman (Head), Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh.
