WUB Tourism and Hospitality Management Club Hosts Iftar and Dua Mahfil 2025

On March 14, 2025, the Tourism and Hospitality Management Club, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) arranged a successful Iftar and Dua Mahfil. The event was honored by the presence of several esteemed guests, including Prof. Muhammed Nasimul Azim, Chairman and Director; Md. Abdul Latif Mahmud, Assistant Professor and Coordinator; and Sara Murtaza, Lecturer of the Tourism and Hospitality Management Department at WUB. Additional faculty members from the Business Administration Department, such as Md. Iftekharul Islam Bhuiya, Assistant Professor & Coordinator, Mr. Helaluddin Ahmed, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Sharif Hosen, Sr. Lecturer, also attended.

The event was further graced by the participation of Ahmad Monjurul Mowla, Sr. Deputy Director of Accounts; Md. Shafiqul Islam, Deputy Director of Accounts; Ehteshamul Hassan Shamim, Sr. Assistant Director of Accounts; Maruf Ahmed, Deputy Registrar; and Susankar Kumar Roy, Sr. Assistant Registrar of WUB.

A total of 105 students took part in the gathering, making it a remarkable and memorable occasion for everyone involved. The event featured a special Dua by Hafez Mahmudul Hasan Nayon, a student from the Tourism and Hospitality Management Department. The Mahfil also included heartfelt prayers for two departed students of the department, as well as for the well-being of all those present.

This event emphasized the values of unity, spirituality, and community, and its success was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the WUB faculty members of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, WUB THM Club members, and all the students of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
