A seminar titled “Improvement of Higher Studies: Problem and Remedies” was held on 27 July, Saturday in the permanent campus of World University of Bangladesh. The speakers of the seminar gave importance on the quality research works to improve the quality of higher studies.  According to them, teachers must learn first before teaching the students, to ensure the quality of education provided by them. Teachers are responsible to provide quality education to the students starting from education life to job life.

The renowned educationist and the emeritus professor of Dhaka University Dr. Serajul Islam Choudhury was present in the seminar as Chief Guest. An eminent educationist and the ex. Director of IER of Dhaka University, Dr. Md.

Siddikur Rahman, was also present as a special guest.

Dr. Mushfiq M. Choudhury from the Department of Management of Dhaka University delivered a speech in the seminar.  The founder and Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury presided the seminar.
