WUB Cultural Club Organizes Pitha Utsab 2019 

A traditional festival of Bengali culture is Pitha Utsab or cake festival. Like every single year, a Pitha Utsab was also held at the university premises from 17-18 January, 2019. Students of all the departments participated with a great enthusiasm. The two day long festival was privileged to have renowned cultural personality Mr. Hasan Imam as the chief guest. The closing  ceremony was chaired by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, while reputed journalist and columnist Mr. Abul Maksud Ahmed was present as a special guest. Department of Pharmacy was declared the champion of the festival by dint of their outstanding performance.
