Discussion and Condolence Meeting
World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized
a discussion and
condolence meeting on January 20, Monday 2020 at
the auditorium of the main campus of WUB for the departed soul of A. A. M. Baquer, a renowned former Professor,
faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University. Professor A. A. M. Baquer passed away on January 15, 2020. Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr.
Abdul Mannan Choudhury, World University of Bangladesh presided over the event.
Pro-Vice Chancellor; Treasurer; Controller of Examinations; Registrar; Proctor;
Deans; Heads of the Departments; faculties, students and non-academic staffs of
the university were also present in this program. Dr. Anowarul Karim, a folklore
giant and brother in law of Professor A.A.M. Baquer presented life sketch of
Baquer. A Milad Mahfil was also held in this connection.
