About us

Textile Talent Hunt

An initiative has been taken by Bangladesh Textile Today - Textile Talent Hunt to discover innovative future leaders for textile industries to handle the real challenges. Around 50 students from the Department of Textile Engineering, WUB had taken part in Talent Hunt Drive on February 15, 2020. Initially the competition started with a short video describing the aims and aspirations of participants. After that, the participants joined an assessment session which was followed by a short presentation segment. On the basis of all these segments, top 15 students were selected to join in the final round of Textile Talent Hunt. Four students namely Md. Abdullah Bin Taslim, Abdur Rouf Ahmed, Shanto Banik and Samrat Halder of the Department of Textile Engineering, WUB had taken place in the Top 15 in the Campus Talent Hunt Drive. Honorable Vice Chancellor of WUB Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury was pleased about the achievement of these students and wished that students would go a long way to achieved the top positions.
