Short Biography:
Omar Faruk is working as a Lecturer in Mathematics under Basic Science Division at the World University of Bangladesh. He joined on 3rd January 2019 as a Teaching Assistant (TA) and was promoted as a Lecturer in Mathematics on 21st March 2019. He completed M.Sc. (Thesis) and B. Sc. (Hon’s) in Mathematics from Jagannath University, Dhaka. He worked as a Guest Teacher in the Mathematics department at Govt. Shaheed Suhrawardy College from 11th July 2018 to 15th June 2019. He is skilled at FORTRAN, MatLab, Mathematica, Python, and C. He has two papers on pure Mathematics published in distinct international peer-reviewed journals. He is also working as a professional Cybersecurity specialist at the online marketplace Fiverr.
