Our Services:

  • Workshops on Mental Health Awareness: Regularly organized seminars to promote mental well-being and awareness.
  • Health Support for International and Exchange Students: Tailored health services to support international students during their time at WUB.
  • Referral to Hospitals and Specialists: Coordination of referrals for specialized care when needed at King Stone Hospital & East West Medical College & Hospital.
  • Health Check-ups: Routine medical and mental health evaluations to ensure the well- being of the university community.
  • Support during University Events: Medical assistance provided during major university gatherings.
  • Public Health and Sanitation: Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and public health on campus.
  • Vaccination and Health Campaigns: Organizing vaccination programs and health awareness campaigns focused on disease prevention.

At the medical centre, students and staff get medical checkup and consultations. For emergency cases and issues which require critical involvement, students and staff are diverted to the Green Life Hospital (greenlife.edu.bd). A subsidized rate is offered for all staff and students at Green Life. The Medical centre provides access to free sexual and reproductive health-care services including information and education services. Considering the conservativeness of the society, such facilities are offered on a one-to-one basis. Further, the Centre has in its premises arrangement for 5 bed accommodation so that students suffering from such contagious diseases as chicken pox, mumps, etc. may be taken care of in isolation.
