The Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh is going to arrange a webinar titled “Circular Fashion: An approach to a Sustainable World.” The webinar will be held on August 31st, Tuesday, 8:00 pm on Facebook Live. Md. Shihab Siddique, Merchandising Manager of Denim Assortment (Bangladesh and Ethiopia), H&M Bangladesh Liaison Office will adorn the program as Keynote Speaker. He will illustrate the concept of circular fashion. It is possible to apply the circular fashion concept for developing the sustainable textile sector in an environmentally friendly way. Though the textile sector is one of the largest contributors to Bangladesh's economy, it is also one of the greatest culprits of global environmental pollution. Hence, circular fashion can be a savior. The program will be chaired by Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh. Lecturer & Academic Coordinator of the Textile Engineering Department, World University of Bangladesh-Umme Salma Ferdousi will moderate the webinar.
