The first phase of the orientation program for newly admitted students of World University of Bangladesh was held in the auditorium of the University. Prof. Dr. M. Mohabbat Khan, Member, University Grants Commission, honoured the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-VC of World University of Bangladesh, Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer of World University of Bangladesh, Dr. Musfiq M. Choudhury, Secretary of the Governing Body of WUB, Prof. Abdur Rouf, Dean, Civil Engineering Dept. were among others spoke on the occasion. The newly admitted students also expressed their feelings.

There is no substitute of education, the speakers said. Those who will not study, they will fall back in every aspects of their life. The student have to go by discipline, punctuality and study, By these they can earn success in their life. The second phase of the same will be held today in the evening where chief guest will be G.M. Joinal Abedin Bhuiyan, Chairman, RAJUK, Chief Speaker, Amir Hossain, Editor, Daily Sun, Special Guest Sheikh Abdul Mannan, Member, RAJUK (Planning) and Sheikh Md. Shamim Iqbal (Land and Property).
