World University of Bangladesh (WUB) hosted its 3rd Convocation Ceremony at Rajarbagh Police Parade Ground on February 13, 2015 (Friday). The event was chaired by Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of Bangladesh on behalf of His Excellency Mr. Abdul Hamid, President of Bangladesh. The Honorable Minister expressed his pleasure knowing that World University of Bangladesh is going to build its own campus by this year. The event was also graced by the Education Secretary, Mr. Nazrul Islam Khan, as special guest. He mentioned that WUB maintains not only quality of education but also within affordable cost of education. Professor Dr. Pran Gopal Datta , Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University was the convocation speaker. Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, WUB; Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, WUB; Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, WUB; Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Secretary, Board of Trustees, WUB; Syndicate Members; Members of the Academic Council; Heads of Departments; faculty members, awarded graduates and distinguished guests were present on this occasion. It is mentioned that 2894 graduates were awarded in this convocation
