In the UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings 2026, announced on 24 September in Baku, Azerbaijan, World University of Bangladesh has risen 60 places in Asia and 106 places worldwide compared to the previous year. WUB is now ranked 4th among Bangladeshi universities in this ranking and sits inside the world's top 500.
