To Comply the order of the UGC and Ministry of Education a seminar on ‘Militancy and Terrorist Activities’ was held on September 03, 2016 at the auditorium  of  World University of Bangladesh (WUB). The Seminar was presided over by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of the University. Dr. Mizanur Rahman Shelley, Chairman, Center for Development Research, Bangladesh (CDRB) was present as chief guest  while Prof. Dr. Arup Ratan Choudhury, Chairman, MANAS and Dr. Md. Mahmadur Rahman (Anu Mahmud) D.G. Prime Minister’s Office were present as special guests. Deans of the faculties; Heads of departments; Faculties; all the members of the WUB- Central Security, Law & Order Committee;  all the members of the departmental Security, Law & Order Committee; Alumni; Students; their Guardians and Imams of local Mosque were present in the seminar. 

The participants in the seminar promised to remain vigilant in upholding the humanity as a check against militancy and terrorism.
