World University of Bangladesh organized  a workshop on  ‘Meeting the challenges of Accreditation Council’ with  the teachers of  different faculties of the university in the auditorium of WUB on November 16, 2016. Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Professor Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer; Deans; Controller of Examinations; Registrar and Proctor were present on the occasion.

To comprehend the challenges of the forthcoming Accreditation Council, the authority of the university organized a one day workshop with two hundred faculty members including Advisors, Heads, Coordinators & Batch Councilors. The teachers made a thorough evaluation of the academic & administrative activities of the  university and suggested ways and means to prepare the  university to meet the challenges of the newly created Accreditation Council. It may be mentioned that an Act governing the Accreditation Council has already been approved in the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The Accreditation Council will act as an independent body to ensure successive quality enhancements in the country.
