                 World University of Bangladesh (WUB) hosted its 4^th Convocation Ceremony at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) on March 09, 2017 (Thursday). The event was chaired by Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Education on behalf of His Excellency Mr. Abdul Hamid, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The event was also graced by Prof. Dr. John Wood, CBE, FREng. Secretary General, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, as the Convocation Speaker.

Prof. Abdul Mannan, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC); Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, WUB; Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Chairmen (Acting), Board of Trustees and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer were present as special guests.  Syndicate Members; Members of the Academic Council; Heads of Departments; faculty members, awardees and distinguished guests were also present on this occasion. It is mentioned that 3179 graduates were awarded  degrees in this convocation. The ceremony was conducted with an attractive cultural Program.
