World University of Bangladesh (WUB) Law Department and Legal Equality Assurance Forum (LEAF) jointly organized "One Day Law School" program on April 04, 2019 at Dhaka Imperial College in order to create public awareness on important law issues.

Advocate Dr. Shoeb Mahmud, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, WUB and Senior Vice President of LEAF, delivered welcome speech. Advocate Md. Rafiqul Islam Hossaini, the Chief Executive of LEAF and Lecturer of Law, WUB, spoke on some social issues and legal solutions to the problems like dowry, child marriage, parental responsibilities, eve teasing, pornography control etc.

Students of the Department of Law, WUB, actively participated as volunteers to make the program successful. The LEAF and the Law Department of WUB will continue to organize similar programs in different parts of the country to create mass awareness on contemporary legal issues.
