World University of Bangladesh organized the ‘International Girls in ICT Day-2019’ on 25 April, 2019 at WUB auditorium with an aim to encourage and empower young women in the growing field of ICT. The event was followed by a programming contest which led to idea generation and sharing of thoughts. The event was also followed by career talk where industry stakeholders such as CIS Ltd. provided counselling on ICT job market.

The event was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury and presided over by Kazi Hasan Robin, Head of CSE department. Prizes were given to the winners in programming competition.
