World University of Bangladesh organized a conference highlighting the significance of studying Mechatronics Engineering at its auditorium in the Main Campus.

The most notable aspect of this conference was that two teachers from every science department of the colleges of Dhaka, Gazipur, Narsingdi and Narayanganj zilla attended the conference.

Honourable Vice Chancellor and founder of WUB, eminent freedom fighter and educationist Prof. Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury,graced the occasion as conference chair.

Dr M Shafiqul Islam, advisor, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, presented the theme paper. The other speakers on the occasion were Dr S M Fazluf Karim, Head, Department of Mechatronics Engineering and Mr Khairul Anam, Deputy Registrar, World University of Bangladesh.

Professor Dr M Nurul Islam, honourable Vice Chancellor of Maulana Bhasani Science and Technology University and treasurer of the university Morsheda Choudhury were present as special guests.

The discussions of the conference highlighted the significance of studying Mechatronics Engineering as a subject and its possibility of contributing in the development of our country.
