A technical seminar on "Cotton Chemistry for Knit Dyers" was organized by the Department of Textile Engineering of the Norld University of Bangladesh (WUB).

Professor Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of WUB graced the event as chief guest and Dr Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Secretary, Board of Trustees, NUB was present as the special guest on the occasion. Prof. Dr. Engr. Humayun Kabir, advisor to the Textile Department, NUB and Principal of NITTRAD was present as the honourable chair, while Engr. Md. Mukhless Ur Rahman Khan, Director (Marketing) of Micro-fibre Group, presented the keynote speech as a guest lecturer of the seminar.

rhe seminar started with the welcome speech of the Head of he Department, Dr. Abu Sadat Md. Sayem, followed by the ;peeches of the eminent guests and the session chair.

Fhe keynote speaker Engr. Md. Mukhless Ur Rahman Khan 3ave an in-depth view of cotton polymer system, morphology ind relevant chemistry. The active and enthusiastic )articipation of the students made the seminar lively and uccessful.
