Online discussion on “Purushtantrik Monovab, Nari-Purush Shomotar Antoray”

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) attended in an online open discussion program titled, “Purushtantrik Monovab, Nari-Purush Shomotar Antoray” arranged by Bangladesh Mohila Porishod on 8 July 2021.

Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Head of the Department of Law (WUB) and Ms. Zenat Islam, Acting Head of the Department of Architecture contributed their speech to that event. The program was moderated by Afroza Arman Runu, Research Officer, Bangladesh Mohila Porishod.

50 students of various departments of WUB participated in this program and shared their opinion about gender discrimination and prospectus of Bangladesh. The participants also put emphasis on male–female discrimination in the job sector, violence against women, human rights, and various present incidents.

At the end of the program, Shima Moslem, Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Mohila Porishod presented her insight and highlighted different ways and strategies to improve the scenario. She also expressed very positive feedback regarding the program. Md. Kamrul Hasan, Deputy Register, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) has given thanks to Bangladesh Mohila Porishod from the University.
