The Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) hold a webinar on “Compliance Management Practices in Textile and Apparel Industry of Bangladesh” on 29^th September, Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Syful Alam Mallick, Compliance Manager, South Asia, Auchan Retail Int. & amp and Sirajum Munir, AGM, Head of Fabric Sourcing, Epic Group BD adorned the program as Keynote Speakers. They interpreted the challenges faced by Human Resources personnel in ensuring compliance in Readymade Garments industry in Bangladesh. Some of the essential elements of social accountability pertaining to the apparel sector of Bangladesh was highlighted in the webinar. The program was chaired by Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Chairman of the Textile Engineering Department. Ajoy Roy, Senior Lecturer, Textile Engineering Department was the moderator of the webinar.
