The Department of English, World University of Bangladesh organized a workshop on “Research in Action: How to Initiate, Complete, and Report Your Research" on 21 July 2022 in the permanent campus of World University of Bangladesh.  Dr. Raihan Sharif, Associate Professor, Department of English, Jahangirnagar University conducted the workshop. He offered hands-on training to help develop research skills for the attendees. He raised contemporary research issues and inspired young student researchers in the workshop. Ms. Humayra Akhter, Lecturer and Mr. Md. Nurullah Patwary, Assistant Professor, Department of English acted as convenors of the workshop. Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Head of the Department of Law and Dean of the arts faculty and Ms. Nurun Nahar, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English along with the faculties from the Department of English and Law participated in the workshop. Young student researchers from their respective departments also participated in the workshop. Honorable Pro Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam and Controller of the Examination Professor Md. Moqbul Hossain joined the workshop to motivate the researchers. The participants found it inspiring and helpful for their future research endeavors.
