The World School of Business organized a program where World University of Bangladesh (WUB) made a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK),KualaLumpur, Malaysia on 15th July 2019 (Monday) at the main campus of WUB at 10am. The WUB and UNIRAZAK entered into the MOU to declare their respective intentions and to establish a basis of direct cooperation and collaboration in the fields of research, education and training programmes of mutual interest, between the Parties upon the provisions as contained in the MOU.
In order to promote the Collaboration, the Parties agreed to negotiate in good faith to explore the possibility of developing collaborative activities which are mutually beneficial, to include but not be limited to: i) facilitating entry to postgraduate courses; ii) facilitating entry to short term courses; iii) exchange of students; iv) exchange of faculty and/or staffs; v) internship programme; vi) joint conferences and academic programmes; and vii) cooperation in other areas.
There were two sessions of the ceremony. In the first session, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md Sidin, Vice Chancellor of UNIRAZAK and Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of WUB signed the MOU for and on behalf of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak and World University of Bangladesh respectively. They also briefed about thier universities, programs, opportunities available for the students.Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gazi Md Nurul Islam, Dean, Graduate School of Business, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak and Professor Abdus Salam Molla, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh also signed in the MOU as the witnesses.
In the second session, there was an exchange of ideas on MPhil and PhD Programmes of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak. Mr. Gazi informed that the students of World University of Bangladesh can enroll into the MPhil (2 years) Program after completing the BBA or BTHM. After completing the MPhil, students can enroll into the PhD program (1.5 years) with an affordable cost.The faculty members and some representatives from the students of World School of Business attended the program.
