On the initiative of the Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh and the WUB Textile Alumni Association, different clothes and food items were distributed on 3^rd July, 2022 (Sunday) among 200 needy people around underprivileged community in Uttara, Dhaka. The food items included oil, sugar, semai, rice and powdered milk and cloth items like Punjabi, shirts and t-shirt for children, young and old. The recipient expressed their appreciation for the donation and their best wishes to the Textile Engineering Department at WUB and its Alumni Association.

The event was organized as a part of the regular co-curricular activities arranged by the Department of Textile Engineering & WUB Textile Alumni Association, World University of Bangladesh.

The local government officials were present in the event and aided in handling the distribution of relief.
