Basanto Uthsob 1429
The Department of Architecture and the
Department of Pharmacy, World University of Bangladesh, has jointly organized
an event titled "Basanto Uthsob 1429" on 14 February 2023. The
ceremony was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Honorable Vice
Chancellor and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh.
More than 200 students participated in this
ceremony. Some cultural events were organized by the students of Pharmacy Department
and Architecture Department (e.g. Music, Dance, recitation). The audience were
enjoyed the whole program. Some stalls were also organized by the students
called “Fagun mela”.
The students of Pharmacy Department and Architecture
Department have made local handmade foods and flowers to make this event more
vibrant
Ms. Zenat Islam, Head of the Department of
Architecture and Zubair Khalid Labu, Head of the Department of
Pharmacy thanked everyone for lively and colorful participation from the
students, teachers and the staff of WUB.
