MOU SIGNING CEREMONY AND SEMINAR ON “ETHICAL ISSUES IN CAREER DEVELOPMENT”

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited on 24th July, 2019 (Wednesday) at 10am in the Main campus of WUB. Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of WUB and Prof. Engr. Liakat Ali, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. signed the MOU for and on behalf of World University of Bangladesh and Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. respectively. Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh was also present at the program. Under the MOU, the students of World University of Bangladesh will get various opportunities like job placement, internship opportunity, and facility for practical class in the factory.
After the MOU Program, the World School of Business arranged a seminar on “Ethical Issues in Career Development” at 11 am in the auditorium of WUB.
Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh was present as the chief guest in the seminar. Mr. Tomotaka Nishikawa, Managing Director, Nippon Agro Limited, Marketing Adviser, Walton Group and Mr. Mir Wahidun Nobi, Director, Nippon Agro Limited, Operative Director (Adviser), Walton Group was also present as special guests.
The seminar was presided over by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh. The faculty members and quite a good number of students attended the seminar.
