Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh arranged an industrial visit to “Mahmud Denims Ltd.” one of the leading textile industrieslocated at Shafipur, Gazipur on 27th July 2019. Around 40 students of different batches have participated in this visit with much enthusiasm & expressed their joy for having such an excellent opportunity to experience such a real work environment.The officials of the factory cordially received and guided them withpractical exposure & insights of the latest spinning and weaving processes, machinery, various finishing processes of denim fabrics and related testing laboratories. The officials arranged a small session of experience sharing where the students got the opportunity to express their enquiries regarding textile sector, machineries and career-related matters.
The students were accompanied by three faculty members, Dibakar Chowdhury;Ajoy Roy; and Kibria Fayez.
