“Higher Education in World University of Bangladesh: Opportunity and Prospect”

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, World University of Bangladesh, arranged a seminer titled “Prospect of Mechatronics Engineering in Bangladesh” on 18^th October, 2023 at Bhawal Polytechnic Institute, Gazipur. The mission of this visit was to ensure the student's encouragement for higher education in the best academic atmosphere.

Engr. A B M Zillur Rahman, Chairman, Bhawal Polytechnic Institute, Gazipur, was present as the Chief Guest of the seminar whereas Engr. SM Omar Faruq, Principal; and Engr. Md. Sumon Rana, Vice Principal, Bhawal Polytechnic Institute, Gazipur were also present as special guest. Abdullah Mohammad Sharif, Assistant Professor, Dept. of BBA, WUB adorned the program as Keynote Speaker. Rezwan Us Saleheen, Assistant Professor, Dept. of MTE, WUB also spoke as the speaker in the seminar.

The speakers of the seminar presented their paper by slides highlighting the contribution of World University of Bangladesh ensuring quality education focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). They also emphasized the key features of WUB involving the OBE curriculum, high-tech laboratories, permanent campus, expert faculty members and its prospects for the job market. The WUB newsletter, leaflet, and introductory speeches were also distributed among the students.

The respective students and teachers were present at the meeting showing their interest for higher education. The speakers of the seminars discussed the importance of mechatronics engineering in home and abroad. The speakers also mentioned the wide academic environment at the newly constructed campus at Uttara of World University of Bangladesh having different departments for providing higher education.
