Faculty Orientation and Training Program

World University of Bangladesh, a leading educational institution dedicated to academic excellence, organized a Faculty Orientation and training Program for the newly appointed faculty members on 10^th June, 2023 (Saturday) at WUB Campus. By the instruction from Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh; Mr. A.N.M. Ahsan Thouhid, Sr. Deputy Registrar, WUB has conducted the program.

The first part of the program began with an introduction to the institution, where the faculty members were introduced to its mission, vision and strategic goals. The second session presented different online academic programs. Mr. Abdullah Mohammad Sharif, Assistant Professor of Business Administration Department and Mr. Md. Asaduzzaman Rasel, Lecturer, Civil Engineering Department conducted the Training program.

Recognizing the importance of effective teaching and learning, the program included sessions on curriculum development, course design and use of learning outcomes. Faculty members were introduced to innovative teaching strategies, active learning strategies and inclusive practices that promote student engagement and success. The Program was carefully designed to meet the diverse needs of faculty members from different disciplines.

WUB is committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for its faculty members and this Program was a testament to this commitment. The participants were active throughout the sessions and enjoyed the program.
