The
Department of Biomedical Engineering and Public Health, World University of
Bangladesh in collaboration with the Advanced Research and Training Center
(ARTC), Rangpur, organized a highly successful day-long workshop on
"Abdominal Ultrasonography and Pregnancy Profile." The workshop, led
by renowned expert Dr. Shah Ahasanul Imran, Associate Professor of Rangpur
Community Medical College and an adjunct Associate Professor of Biomedical
Engineering and Public Health, aimed to provide valuable hands-on experience in
advanced techniques related to abdominal and pregnancy-focused ultrasonography.
The
event saw enthusiastic participation from 45 practicing doctors from across the
country, all eager to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of
medical ultrasonography. This workshop offered an exceptional learning
platform, allowing participants to gain valuable insights into the latest
advancements and best practices in abdominal imaging and pregnancy-related
diagnostics.
The
day-long workshop commenced with an inauguration ceremony, graced by the
esteemed presence of Professor Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro Vice-Chancellor, World
University of Bangladesh, who inaugurated the program as the special guest. The
event was chaired by Dr. Swapan Kumar Sarkar, Head of the Department of
Biomedical Engineering and Public Health, whose leadership ensured the smooth
execution of the workshop.
The
workshop was further adorned by the attendance of the following distinguished
invited guests, including:
University
Registrar, Head of Departments, Controller of Examinations, faculty members
also attended in the workshop. The valuable collaboration and material support
from our supporting organizations and institutes, 'Bangladesh International
Federation of Ultrasonography in Medicine (BIFUM)' and 'Transmed,' played an
important role in making this event a resounding success.
Participants
of the workshop expressed their gratitude for the comprehensive and engaging
