The
Department of Business Administration successfully organized a workshop on
"Essential Tips for Publication in High Impact Journals" on July 26,
2023 at 11 am. The Chief Guest for the event was Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan
Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh. We were also
honored to have Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Word
University of Bangladesh, as the Special Guest.
The
workshop featured Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Associate Professor of International
Business at Lincoln University, United Kingdom, as the keynote speaker. Dr. Mahfuz
presented invaluable insights on the essential aspects of publishing in
high-impact journals.
The
session was chaired by Dr. Selim Ahmed, Head, Department of Business
Administration, World University of Bangladesh. The attendees, including
faculty members and students, displayed enthusiasm for research and
publication.
During
the workshop, the keynote speaker shared essential tips for achieving success
in publishing high-impact research papers. He emphasized the significance of
selecting appropriate measurement scales based on the research context and its
impact. As researchers, we must demonstrate sincerity, honesty, a willingness
to share knowledge, and the ability to accept major revisions and potential
challenges in collaborating with co-authors. Consistency and commitment were
also highlighted as key traits for successful researchers.
The

for gathering research ideas and developing a strong research topic. He showed
