"World University of Bangladesh Vice-Chancellor Pays Tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman"

Heroic Freedom Fighter Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh Paid Rich Tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj. After observing 1 minute silence, they in honor of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nescha Mujib and other martyrs who were victims of the massacre of August 15, 1975 recited fateha and doa.

Meanwhile, Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh and Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar; Mohammad Kamrul Hossain and Ahsan Tauhid Milton, Senior Deputy Registrar; Mohammad Saiful Hannan, Senior Deputy Controller of Examinations along with other senior officers, Heads of various departments and respected faculty and WUB officials were present. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury with the senior faculties and officials of the university laid wreath at Bangabandhu's mausoleum on behalf of the university. Heads of departments and teachers from all departments of the university also laid wreaths at the mausoleum.
