January 27, 2024, Dhaka: The Department of LAW, World University of Bangladesh bids farewell to the esteemed graduates of the Law Department from the 49th and 50th batches in a ceremony held in the University Campus. The event commenced at 01.00 p.m. with an opening statement by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Guest Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury stated that despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the World University of Bangladesh has successfully transitioned to its new campus. It is now one of the eleven private universities that have received permanent recognition of the Ministry of Education with the recommendation of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. The goal is to strive for the top position. He added that WUB is going to build its 15-story new academic building for enhancing quality education.
Special guest Dr. Md. Alamgir said he would help students with their judiciary. Wished very good luck and he is so fascinated by the progress of the university. Mr. Alamgir would like to see many of the students in the judiciary segment.
The Register, Dean, Faculty of Science, and Engineering, and others of the World University of Bangladesh were also present in the farewell program.
