Seminar on “The Concept of Net Energy Metering: A Guideline of SREDA”

A Seminar on “The Concept of Net Energy Metering: A Guideline of SREDA.” held at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, World University of Bangladesh. The seminar held on 07^th June, (Friday), 2024, 11 AM to 12 PM at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium, WUB. All the faculty members including students were present at the seminar. Mysha Samiha, a student of the 86/A batch hosted the session with welcome speech. She introduced all the guests and speakers to the attendee of the seminar.

Md. Niaz Morshedul Haque, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST),Cumilla; delivered his presentation on Net Energy Metering: A Guideline of SREDA. The seminar was very informative and worthwhile to the students. The guests and students enjoyed the session and gained knowledge on Net Energy Metering.

Heroic Freedom Fighter Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of the World University of Bangladesh, graced the event as the Honorable Chief Guest. He warmly welcomed Md. Niaz Morshedul Haque with a bouquet of flowers. In his brief address, he expressed his appreciation for the keynote speaker’s contributions and insights. As a token of admiration, Dr. Choudhury presented a commemorative crest to Mr. Haque, acknowledging his valuable participation in the seminar.

Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh was present as the Special Guest. He delivered a short speech. He also inspires our students to be a part of this type of research initiatives.

The session was presided over by Prof. Dr. M. Quamruzzaman, Head, Department of EEE, WUB. He highly appreciated the efforts and nice presentation of our honorable guest speaker. He also gave the concluding speech with vote of thanks.
