also showcased, featuring vibrant patterns and techniques that highlighted
their rich cultural heritage.
The festival
provided WUB students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the
traditions, artistry, and lifestyles of Bangladesh's diverse ethnic
communities. This hands-on exposure allowed students to connect their
theoretical knowledge of cultural tourism with real-world applications,
enhancing their understanding of the integral role culture plays in the tourism
and hospitality industry.
Speaking about
the experience, Professor Nasimul Azim highlighted the importance of such
events in broadening students' perspectives and fostering appreciation for
cultural diversity. He emphasized that the knowledge gained from such
interactions would significantly contribute to their professional growth in the
field of tourism management.
