Department of Mechatronics Engineering (MTE) in assosiation with WUB Research Society (WUBRS) organized a seminar and workshop on ‘ROBOTICS and IOT’ on 12th October, 2019 (Saturday) at 10:00 am at WUB Panthapath Campus. Honorable Vice Chancellor of World Univerity of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury was present in the seminar as Chief Guest. The Faculty and the students of MTE department participated in the seminar. Engineer Md Farhan Ferdous, (ex-student of WUB) Founder & Chairman of Japan-Bangladesh Robotics and Advanced Technology Research Center (JBRATRC) conducted an effective power point presentation on walking dynamics of robots and stable gait generation scheme. Dr Mohammad Salah Uddin, Assistant Professor, department of CSE in East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh & Advisor, JBRATRC discussed on various fascinating applications of robotics and advanced technology.The seminar ended with an insightful speech by honorable Vice Chancellor. He told that technological advancement has reached to a revolutionized stage.

The second session of the program began with a workshop on ‘Robotics and IOT’ that included hands-on learning activities by students in groups.

At the end crests and certificates were awarded to the participants.
