Short Biography:
Md. Sydur Rahman, a member of Bangladesh Chemical Society (BCS) and faculty of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is interested broadly in the area of nanomaterial and biophysical research. The primary goal is to synthesize and characterize nanomaterials that have controllable activities. He completed his graduation and Masters in chemistry from University of Chittagong (CU) with the successful accomplishment of academic research on solution thermodynamics. Then he joined in M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) program of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Chemistry and got involved in nanomaterial research area.
After receiving M.Phil certification he involved actively in research on multiple fields and started helping the young researchers by supervising and guiding them. He previously worked as co-supervisor of M.S. and M.Phil level researchers at material science laboratory of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. As a senior researcher of IRA Alliance (International Research and Advancement Alliance) he provided training to some groups of researchers in different nanoresearch fields. One of his published article got firm invitation for oral presentation and published in Euro Material Science 2020, Paris. He is also serving as active reviewer of several recognized scientific journals. His current focuses held on nanomedicinal technique for neuroregeneration and neuroprotection strategies and on solid state battery.
Mr. Rahman is involved here with multiple types of chemistry courses eg.; Physical Pharmacy, Basic Inorganic Chemistry, Inorganic Pharmacy, Polymer Science, Chemical Thermodynamics, Inorganic Quantitative Analysis, Advanced Electrochemistry, Physical Pharmacy Lab, Inorganic Pharmacy Lab, Solution Chemistry, Chemistry of Co-ordination Compounds, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Corrosion and so on. He also contributes his expertise in the arrangement of scientific conferences and seminars and other intellectual programs of the university.
