Seminar on “Standardized Project Management Practices (SPMP) in Textile Sectors: Praxeologically towards the Sustainability in Bangladesh Perspective”
Project management is the application of
processes, methods, knowledge, skills and experience to achieve the project
objectives. Generally it is simply the planning, organizing, and managing tasks
and resources to accomplish a defined objective. It is a vital component of any
consultant’s tool bag and a skill that must be developed and refined. Most projects
will have time and cost constraints that have to be understood and allowed for
in the plan. Textile education plays an important role in
Bangladesh by creating skilled manpower, enhancing industrial productivity
and after all improving the quality of life. For creating skilled manpower Department of Textile Engineering, World University of
Bangladesh is going to arrange a seminar on “Standardized Project Management
Practices (SPMP) in Textile Sectors: Praxeologically towards the Sustainability
in Bangladesh Perspective” on 29 January (Wednesday) 2020 at Panthapath campus
auditorium at 11:00 am. Md. Tahzibul Haque (Shahin), PhD Fellow, Faculty of
Engineering (FKJ), University of Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia is the key note
speaker. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury has
given his kind consent to remain present as the chief guest in the seminar.
