World University of Bangladesh puts emphasis on quality education and felicitates and encourages the students with merit and determination. To inspire students to do better results, Department of Business Administration and Faculty of Arts and Humanities organizes "Best Performance Certificate Award Ceremony" at the end of every semester. The students who get CGPA 3.75 and above are felicitated with certificates. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of WUB Prof. Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Heads of Departments and Special Guests remain present to give away the certi icates and deliver their valuable speeches to inspire, encourage and motivate them.

On September 29, 2012 World University of Bangladesh arranged a programme at "Dream Holiday Park", Panchdona, Narsingdi to felicitate the brilliant students of HSC 2012 of the 56 colleges of Narsingdi. The GPA-5 achivers of Science, Arts and Commerce, 715 in number, were greeted with flowers. Later on, all the meritorious students were awarded with certificates, medals and gift boxes.

Hon'ble Chairperson of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Prof. Fahima Khatun graced the occasion as chief guest. She praised and congratulated World University of Bangladesh for taking such initiatives and imparting utilitarian education and thus producing educated and enlightened manpower. Hon'ble Charperson of Board of Trustees of WUB, Morsheda Choudhury honoured the chief guest with a memento. The programme was presided over by Prof. Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury, founder and hon'ble Vice Chancellor of WUB. The first part ended with the best wishes for the brilliant students.

After the lunch break, a gorgeous cultural programme followed. The audience enjoyed the performances of the students of the university and the popular singers Rupom, Muhin and Nishita.
